A moment when the senses can breathe again.
With the voices of children, the air around shrines, and the scent of the seasons,
may we quietly remember the self we almost forgot.
Based in Kyoto, Matsui Shogo made his major-label debut in 2018 with the band Kuuchuuloop through Universal Music Japan. He later taught at Kyoto Seika University and released his second solo album, APPLEMINT, in 2023.
Under the phrase “KYOTO CHILL-POP,” he creates music and words rooted in daily life, place, and quietness.
