Matsui Shogo

musician | gentle observer of everyday

Moments when the senses can breathe again.

With the voices of children, the stillness of shrines,

and the scent of passing seasons,

I hope to gently remind you of the “you” you may have forgotten.

Based in Kyoto.

In 2018, I made my major debut with the band Kūchū Loop through UNIVERSAL MUSIC JAPAN.

After teaching popular culture at Kyoto Seika University, I released my latest solo album APPLEMINT in 2023.

Under the concept of KYOTO CHILL-POP,

I craft music and words rooted in daily life and quietness.
