Matsui Shogo

Under the slogan "Kyoto-Chill-Pop", Based in Kyoto. In 2018, he made his major debut from UNIVERSAL MUSIC JAPAN with the band "Kuuchuu Loop".

​

With a live style in which the singing voice is also an instrument, and sounds are layered while making full use of LOOPER, he has performed live not only in Japan but also around the world, including San Francisco, Minneapolis, Buenos Aires, Patagonia, and Melbourne.

In 2023, the latest album "APPLEMINT" is  released. A masterpiece of "Kyoto Chill-Pop" that has been sublimated into pop music while incorporating all genres, centered around a soft singing voice and a minimal music method that comfortably loops short sound phrases.They are expanding the horizons of new Japanese pop music.
